My career as an artist has been centered using the mediums of stoneware and acrylic paint. In this series, I have combined these two powerful artistic elements and fused them into dynamic compositions of texture and color.

My career as an artist has been centered using the mediums of stoneware and acrylic paint. In this series, I have combined these two powerful artistic elements and fused them into dynamic compositions of texture and color.
The coalescence of these elements has emerged into tactile and vibrant surfaces represented in this group of art work. An honest approach in the use of materials has always been my goal. These compositions invite the viewer to look more closely at the intricate nuances of color and design while maintaining a direct minimalist approach.
The Paint is applied showing brush strokes and linear energy.
The Clay is raw and unglazed with texture and tactile surfaces.
The Shape exhibited on the surface of each piece is purposefully yet spontaneously articulated.
All of the paintings are available exclusively from Neil Kruel Studio. All works are original painted on canvas stretched over a wood substrate, UV coated with artists’ signature on back. Certificate of Authenticity is included with free shipping. These paintings are also available as prints of various sizes.
